I was ecstatic I got to read A Wizard of Earthsea again for my Readings in the Genres class at SHU because The Earthsea Quartet is one of a very few epic fantasy series that I've read and loved. This book is one of my For A Wizard of Earthsea, every single one of them drew ocean with islands, large expanses of water, maybe some boats, birds, maybe Lookfar but sometimes Ged as a hawk. "A Wizard of Earthsea," first published in 1968, is the first of a series of books written by Le Guin and is set in the fantasy world archipelago of Earthsea depicting the adventures of a budding young wizard named Ged. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale and hope to eventually read them all.
